Summer Mornings Start Here
This is the first summer we are hosting learn-to-row (LTR) programs for both upcoming Middle School
(rising 6th - 8th grades) and High School (rising 9th - 12th grades) students! Participants do not need to have
any prior rowing or athletic experience. New LTR rowers will be introduced to the sport both on and off
the water, using indoor rowing machines, smaller sculling boats, and larger sweep boats. We will help
new rowers to understand the fundamentals of rowing technique and boat handling, as well as
boathouse and on-the-water safety guidelines. Each group of athletes will be provided with
opportunities to explore the sport of rowing in a fun team environment.
What to bring: Water bottle and sunscreen.
What to wear: Comfortable, close-fitting* clothes for warm weather. Athletic shoes also required.
*Baggy t-shirts and shorts will get caught in moving equipment.

Our development camp is geared toward rising 7th - 12th grade athletes with previous rowing experience (preferably at least one competitive season completed). This five-week program is designed for those that may be looking for technical development, fine-tuned fitness, and nutrition coaching during the summer months, without the pressure of a racing environment. Following this camp, rowers will return to their home programs with a greater understanding of the rowing stroke in both larger team boats and in smaller sculling boats.
June 7th - July 9th
Monday- Friday 7:00am - 9:00am
Entire Program: $475
Competitive Racing Camp
Back by popular demand, our eight-week competitive racing camp is geared toward well-seasoned athletes in rising 10th-12th grade and returning collegiate rowers. This select camp is designed for athletes with a desire to gain a higher level of competitive racing experience in team boats through technical coaching, conditioning, and nutritional guidance.
Racing events will be categorized into the following: U17, U19, U23, and Open events. Athlete selection will be made via applications submitted with the summer camp registration form and then again with seat-racing. Rowers that are not selected for the racing team will be invited to participate in the Development Camp. Selected athletes will be expected to compete several times over the course of the camp, including the Independence Day Regatta "IDR" (Philadelphia, PA; July 2nd-4th), leading up to the team's final competition at USRowing's Summer "Club" National Championships (Camden, NJ; July 13th-18th).
